Asafoetida, sometimes spelled Asafetida is known by many common names such as Devil's Dung, Food of the Gods, Giant Fennel, Hing, and Narthex. It is considered a roadside weed and is not sold by plant or seed in the United States. The image on the right is there so you will know what it looks like.
